Goldie’S Deli & Restaurant

Good food, friendly service, and a welcoming atmosphere. The Frank Sinatra was good, loaded with tons of extremely thin sliced turkey, but it was missing something, like tomato lettuce or mustard. I like that it came with a nice soft kaiser roll instead of on toast that would destroy the roof of your mouth. The side salad was good, it had just a little bit of incredibly thin sliced red onion so it was overbearing. The salmon was good but holy smoke, the mashed potatoes and gravy were the real MVP. I had half a mind to ask for their recipe. The host and server was super nice and friendly. The owner came out from the back and was talking with a table of guests. The food and drinks were out fast. The atmosphere was good. There was a nice mural on the wall. Seating was designed for maximum capacity. Everything seemed newer and clean. The walls could definitely use some touch-up from the scratches, dents, missing paint, and kids' crayon markings. When you walk in, you can go left for takeout or right for dining. With the deli counter and menu on the left, I can imagine this place is packed during the day. The clientele is definitely old, 70s and 80s+. We were the youngest people there by 3 decades easily. There was good music playing like Stevie Nicks, Johnny Cash, The Eurythmics, and Fleetwood Mac. We would come back.

First time at the restaurant and we had a great experience. I had the breakfast buffet, which stayed fresh and stocked the whole time. My son ordered a hamburger even though it was 730am! Waitress was great and the place seemed clean and inviting.

First time in a decade that staff read from the "wings" whether or not what we needed. The waitress came by once to check on us. It was the best meal in a long time. (Not constantly bombarded by the waitress. Giving the feeling they wanted your table.). The food was so fresh. And chef was "flash" quick with our order. Very impressed! I'll return with business meetings again.

I met a friend for lunch and we enjoyed our time there immensely. The atmosphere is cozy and quaint and it was very clean. The server was prompt and friendly. My corned beef sandwich was excellent: the meat was very tender and flavorful. My friend got the philly cheese steak sandwich. We stayed for hours and chatted.

Great place. Super fast service, food was fantastic. Massive pancakes - just FYI. The croissant breakfast sandwich was also delicious. Good coffee. If we visit the area again, we'd come back.

I went to Goldie's for breakfast. I have heard and seen Goldie's, but never had the chance to eat their food. I loved the interior, which had old classical actors; such as Clark Gable and Judy Garland.For me, this was interesting, because I love old classical movies. The restaurant was extremely clean, which I loved. I ordered an egg sandwich, which was delicious. I was given a choice of whatever bread I wanted, and how I wanted my eggs. I also ordered the coffee. I love Dunkin Doughnuts coffee, but the coffee at Goldie's was just as delicious. The waitresses would continuously come around and refill your coffee mug to keep your drink hot. All the waitresses were extremely nice. I even saw the owner come out to the dining room to visit with some of the costumers. Paula, a cashier, was kind enough to take care of my to go oder.

This place is a must visit. The food is quality and taste amazing. Well worth the asking price. The service was great and the atmosphere welcoming. Kitchen and food prep area are clean and fully visible. You simply can't go wrong! Oh and the cheese cake.... .massive slices at a reasonable cost. Look at the photo of mine, which I already ate 2 in. Off of... The Matzo balls were light and fluffy and were just grand. My only feed back for improvement. It was much too cold to the point we could not wait to leave and I am never the cold one.... Thanks for a great meal!
